Late and Sunday propane
Still filling when everyone else has shut
The short answer
Lake Murray Chevron, 5600 Baltimore Drive, La Mesa, is open for propane until 9:00 PM every night, Sunday included, and until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Most propane counters in East County close at 7:00 PM, and at 5:00 PM on Sunday.
Propane tends to run out at the worst moment. Halfway through cooking on a Saturday night. Sunday evening before a camping trip. The heater dies on the coldest night of the year. Those are exactly the hours when the usual places are closed.
Our hours, plainly
| Day | Open | Close |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday to Thursday | 6:00 AM | 9:00 PM |
| Friday | 6:00 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Saturday | 6:00 AM | 10:00 PM |
Propane is filled by an attendant, so please arrive with enough time before closing rather than right on closing.
